About

Located south of Leeds City Centre, Mecca Hunslet is a very large, purpose-built bingo hall with a capacity of over 1,500 players. It is quite a popular club although it very rarely fills the capacity that it has with the exception of special events. It is well worth looking out for these events as when the hall is full it has a very special atmosphere.

Getting here is very easy, especially by car, thanks to the close proximity to the M621 and with very easy access from junction 5 near PureGym. The club itself is just off Bahm Road and sits on its own large piece of land. There is a large car park to the front and side of the club with ample parking for all.

For those needing public transport, the area is very well served by bus with routes 12, 13, 13A, 47, 48, 74, 74A and 86 all stopping at the Balm Road Midland Road stop which is a 2-minute walk from the club.

Mecca Bingo Hunslet is impressive from the outside and even more impressive from the inside with a huge main hall with comfortable seating, table service and very sophisticated decor.

The club has spent money on keeping up its appearance which is refreshing to see and the locals love it here. There is a large arcade area if you want to play on the machines and you will find a cash point on site for your convenience.

Opening Times

As you might expect with a club of this size the opening hours are quite extensive. Monday to Friday the club is open from 12pm with doors opening two hours earlier at 10am on Saturday and much later at 5pm on Sunday. The club closes at 10.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and at 11pm the rest of the week.

There are more than 50 games of bingo to be played most days with the action starting from midday (5pm on Sunday) so get in quick and get yourself sorted.

Prices

The afternoon tickets cost £2.50-£8 although there is also a £15 main event on Saturday afternoon,

Evening main sessions cost £10 on Monday, £15 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and £20 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Extra games maybe charged for separately.

There is also the Mecca Max available, which is the electronic bingo and packages are available to buy to give you more chances to win.
