About

Located just outside the centre of Wakefield, Gala Bingo is still within walking distance of all the shops and sights of this West Yorkshire town. The club may not look awfully inspiring from the outside, but one thing is for sure: you won’t miss it on the way into town, and luckily, it is nicer inside than out.

Getting here is very easy as it is central and close to major routes such as the A639 Ings Road, where you can just turn off onto Denby Dale Road and find yourself at the club. It has parking for just under 100 cars on-site, so finding a space is not an issue. There is also a bus stop outside the club, and you can take the 108, 109, 443 or 444 straight there and get off at the Denby Dale Road stop G3.

Gala Wakefield has plenty going on inside and a friendly crowd matched by equally friendly staff. The facilities are top quality, and you will find clean, comfortable, and spacious areas for playing bingo, which you can do in the traditional paper format or through the electronic bingo terminals, as pictured below.

The club has its own dedicated slot machine room, simply labelled ‘slots.’ Here, you will find even more chances to win big and keep you entertained between games of bingo.

There is a cash point on-site for your convenience, food and drink are served all day, every day, and there are full disabled facilities and a hearing loop.

Opening Times

Don’t let it be said that the people of Wakefield do not like bingo. This club is open from 10am to 12am six days a week (Monday through Saturday) and from 12pm to 12am on Sundays.

There are three sessions of bingo to be played every day of the week with weekday games starting from 11am and the Party Xtra games starting from 10.50am!

Prices

Monday to Thursday, all session prices are £4 at Gala Bingo Wakefield. On Friday evening and all day Saturday the price is £6. Sunday afternoon is also £6, and then the evening game is £7.

First-chance games cost £2, and last-chance games cost £1. You will find some massive prizes on offer—especially at the weekends! Sunday evening, you can win over £2,500 in-house alone.
