About
Gala Coventry is housed in the old Savoy Cinema building. The character of its past remains, and so here stands one of the finest bingo halls in the UK, if not the West Midlands. Located near Aldi and Boots on Radford Road, you will find ample parking outside the bingo hall and along the road itself. If you are travelling via public transport, the number 8, 16, 16a, 17b and 735 buses all stop outside Gala.
Facilities-wise, you have all the usual Gala Bingo amenities at your disposal, including the bar, diner, cash point, slot machines, smoking shelter and, of course, disabled access and disabled facilities inside.
This Gala Bingo hall is popular with a range of age groups, and both men and women enjoy a night out here. It is also popular with stag dos, but more so with hen dos.
There are regular promotions and some unique to this venue offers. Sunday nights occasionally have a half-price entry with the same money on offer, and you will also find real big prizes from time to time, such as brand-new cars and holidays.
The Pot of Gold competition allows for huge jackpots to be won with prizes over £125,000 at times.
All in all, this is a classy bingo venue that is popular with the locals—and we loved it, too!
Opening Times
Gala Bingo in Coventry is open from 12 noon to 11pm Monday through Thursday, 12 noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, and 4pm to 11pm Sunday.
They do not have morning bingo sessions any day of the week, so Monday through Saturday, there are two sessions per day starting at 1pm and 7.30pm. Sunday has just an evening session that starts at 7.30pm.
Prices
The prices at Gala Coventry are very reasonable, with most games costing just £1, £2 and £3. There are £5 games on Friday and Saturday evenings and a £10 game Sunday evening. All in all, the bingo games at this Gala venue are particularly reasonable.
