About

This purpose-built bingo hall sits on the Lichfield road between Bloxwich and Wednesfield. It is part of a retail park with free parking available for visitors. Several buses run through the area, with routes 525, 528, 559 and 908, all stopping right outside the venue.

The place itself is quite sizeable, and the atmosphere inside is lively but friendly. The staff (and punters, for that matter) are only too happy to help—especially if you are a newbie. There are plenty of big-money prizes up for grabs, and despite the bingo hall having been there for some time, the decor is bright and modern inside.

The venue is great for letting your hair down with your mates or hosting a bingo party.

As well as the usual bingo-related facilities, you will also find a bar, diner (serving good food with plenty of promotions), slot machines, disabled access and facilities, as well as an outdoor smoking shelter should it all become a bit too much indoors.

Opening Times

This busy Gala Bingo has been around for over a decade but still has a loyal following. The opening times of Gala Ashmore Park are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11.45 am to 11 pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10.30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 11.45 am to 11.30 pm.

The session times vary, with morning games starting at 10.30 am when the venue is open early and the first sessions starting at 1 pm when it is not open early. Evening sessions start at 7.30 pm each and every day.

Prices

The prices vary depending on the time of day and which day you are playing, with the cheapest session costing £3 and the most expensive (Sunday evening) costing £10. The cheapest time to play appears to be Mondays and Wednesdays, when evening games are just £1 and afternoon games are just £3.

There are also some free games available, and you can purchase the popular electronic bingo packages from £6 up to £21 each day except Saturday, when prices start at £10 and go up to £35.
