Castle Bingo Canton has plenty of history, as it has stood on its site since 1988—almost 30 years! In fact, it was the inaugural purpose-built bingo club in the United Kingdom. It has stood the test of time, and thanks to several refurbishments over the years and continual reinvestment in the facilities, it is now one of the most modern and well-equipped bingo halls in Wales, if not the whole of the UK.

Facilities include two bars, a cafe, and a diner that serves excellent food at good prices. They also have conference facilities and a banqueting suite that provides top-class corporate function hire.

Located right opposite St David’s Hospital and less than a mile from the city centre of Cardiff, this bingo hall is understandably popular amongst locals and tourists alike. Cardiff City Football Club is a stone’s throw away and you can travel in by train to the Ninian Park Train Station – but expect a good 5-10 minute walk. Buses run much closer with the easiest stop being St David’s Hospital. Take bus routes 13, 15, 17, 18, 32A, 32B, 61, 64, 65, 66, 96, 96A, 96S or X1 to get there. There is parking but there is not much of it so we recommend public transport in a city of this size.

We love a Castle Bingo promo, and Canton does not disappoint with special offers galore on offer. They do change each month, but they do list the day-by-day deals on their website, so be sure to check it out. To give you an example of what’s on offer, there are free meals, bingo twin (where every player has a twin and if they win, so do you), double prize money nights, free meals and free gift games, and the list goes on!

Opening Times

Another of the ever popular Castle Bingo halls in Wales and this one is located in Canton, Cardiff. Opening times are 10.30am to 11pm Wednesday and Saturday and 11.30am to 11pm the rest of the week.

Morning games play at 11am on Wednesday and Saturday with afternoon and getting underway at 12pm. The evening sessions start at 6pm with the last one taking place at 9.30pm – now that is bingotastic!

As well as the standalone games there are linked mini cash games in each session with the other Castle Bingo clubs in Wales.

Prices

Castle Bingo Canton prices are well known for being low and offering top value. You can take part in 5 pages of bingo for £3 on Wednesday morning or 6 pages of bingo for £5 on Saturday morning. Afternoon and evening games cost £2 – £10, with the cheaper games usually taking place on weekdays. There are also free paper tickets available on Wednesday afternoons.

As if those prices weren’t amazing enough, there are a number of specials throughout the month. They change from month to month, but we have shown you some samples in our promotions section.

You can also play electronic bingo on the Castle e-CUBS, a handheld e-bingo device with auto-dab features that is easy for beginners or more advanced players who want to play multiple games.
