About

Located just off the Coast Road that leads directly in and out of the City of Newcastle, Gala Bingo Wallsend is a large purpose-built club on a large retail park. Easily accessed via the A1058, the club is very easy to get to by road, and although the club serves the local community, you will also find people travelling from a number of the local towns and villages.

There is an on-site car park with space for just under 100 cars, and extra street parking is available, too—although this is almost never needed. Those who prefer to travel by public transport have a few options, with a bus stop on Middle Engine Lane and one on Coast Road. The latter has bus routes 22, 306, 308, S671, S678, and S681 all stopping and is super convenient, with it being less than a minute to walk to the front door.

Although Gala Wallsend is part of a retail park, it is also very near a number of good-quality bars and pubs. The Jolly Bowman, The Walls End, and a Hungry Horse are all within walking distance of the club.

Despite plenty going on locally, you might just plan to make a night of it in the bingo hall, thanks to some top-class facilities. Expect to find an excellent arcade area with a variety of the latest machines to play on. Electronic bingo is on offer for those who prefer a more modern approach to the game, and you will also find excellent food and drink offerings in the diner and bar area.

Opening Hours

Gala Bingo Wallsend is open from 11.30am to 11pm Monday through Thursday and from 11.30am to 11.30pm Friday through Sunday. Morning, afternoon, and evening bingo sessions are played seven days a week. The main stage games start at 12pm daily, with Party Xtra starting at 11.30am.

Prices

The price of bingo at Gala Wallsend ranges from £3 per session to £6 per session all week long, with Sunday night being the only one that is out of that price range, costing £11.

First-chance games in the afternoon are £1, and evening first-chance games are £2. All last-chance games are £1.
