Mecca Bingo Sheffield is one of three bingo halls in the city but this one has the draw of being the most central with it being in the main central hub of the city. Housed in an old cinema the club has a real traditional feel to it and since being converted to a bingo hall in 1971 it has gone from strength to strength as a true entertainment complex.

The club has managed to retain many of the original features but it has some of the best facilities in the city when it comes to bingo as well as the longest opening hours of the three clubs.

Located just off Flat Street the club itself does not actually have any parking available but there are many parking opportunities in the city as well as parking at the nearby Arundel Gate Car Park. The Blue, Purple and Yellow lines of the Super Tram all run through the city centre with the nearest stop to Mecca being at Castle Square. Details of times can be found here.

For those travelling via bus into the city then you have even more options with buses stopping at Fitzalan Square which is less than a minute’s walk from the front door of Mecca and has over 20 different buses running through.

Mecca Sheffield has some excellent food and drinks options with both being served all day every day. The club might not look too modern from out front but once inside the place has a completely different feel to it. With some of the latest slot machines and a sophisticated decor, you might think this was a purpose-built venue.

Opening Times

Mecca Sheffield is open from 10am to 10pm Monday to Friday, Saturday is even longer with doors opening at 9.30am and closing at 10pm whilst Sunday is open from 12pm to 10pm.

Games start daily from 10am with the exception of Sunday for the morning bingo session with 2 games played before noon. Evening games start at 6pm and feature up to 18 games whilst afternoon sessions have up to 8 games and start at midday.

Prices

Prices start from just £2.50 at Mecca Sheffield and the most you will have to pay is £20 for the Friday evening main event. The majority of prices are however in the £5 – £15 price bracket.

Electronic bingo known as Mecca Max is also available here with prices starting at £2 and going up to a maximum of £120 depending on the number of tickets you wish to purchase. Full details can be found on the official website.
