About

Gala Barnsley is located right in the town centre just on the outskirts of the main shopping area. This purpose-built venue is very large and has an on-site car park to match the front of the club. This makes the venue incredibly easy to reach via the A61 and local town centre roads.

For those looking to get here via public transport, there are also plenty of options with Barnsley Train Station being within spitting distance of Gala. The bus station is even closer and located on Schwäbisch Gmünd Way, with over 30 different bus routes all passing through the area. This has to be the most accessible Gala Bingo club in the UK for both public and private transport options.

Once inside you will find the club has everything you need from an on-site cash machine to an impressive arcade zone where you can play the best fruit and slot machines. The food and drink offerings are always on hand to keep you well fuelled for all the bingo action – and there is plenty of that too.

Should you wish to venture further afield or if you have some winnings that you wish to spend immediately then you will be present with multiple options as soon as you step out the front door of the club. The Parkway Cinema is less than 100 metres away and so too are the local markets. A little further (but less than a 5-minute walk) will bring you to Alhambra Shopping Centre which is home to many national brand retail outlets as well as the Admiral Casino if you wish to push your luck a little further.

At the time of writing, there were free bingo games on offer in the morning sessions with £300 jackpots up for grabs and it is not uncommon for there to be big prize giveaways on special nights – these usually happen on Saturday or Sunday evenings when the club is at its busiest.

Opening Times

Barnsley Gala Bingo is open from 10am to 12am Monday to Saturday and is open from 12pm to 12am on Sunday. The club has a huge following hence these long opening hours and you will find morning bingo sessions being played every day from 10.10am for the Party Xtra games (except Sunday).

Afternoon sessions start from 12.25pm Monday to Friday and from 12.45pm at weekends. Evening games all start from 6.45pm.

Prices

The prices of bingo sessions at Gala Barnsley vary quite a lot through the week. With sessions starting from just £2 (Monday evening main event) there is some real value to be had. Prices then range from £4 to £11 with the most expensive games taking place on Tuesday and Sunday evenings.
