About
The old theatre that houses this Mecca Bingo hall is located on Corporation Street in the centre of Taunton town centre near the main eateries and shopping centre. Its large and spacious interior is a little dated, but the atmosphere created by the locals is second to none. Whilst certain elements might seem dated, it is hard not to be impressed by the Art Deco style and the history that is encapsulated inside the old theatre. Staff and customers are both found to be very welcoming and friendly, and there is an air of friendly competitiveness on most days. The facilities are excellent and include the usual comfortable tables and chairs for playing bingo, a dedicated arcade/slots area and, of course, a well-stocked bar and restaurant serving well-priced food and beverages.
Unfortunately, there is no dedicated parking, but you will find plenty of good transport links to get here via public transport and a range of public car parks. The train station is a little too far to walk for most people, but with buses stopping at Castle Way and Corporation Street, there are plenty of routes in from the surrounding areas. Some of the buses you might want to take are 9, 21, 28, 30, 54 and 97, but there are over 20, so check with South West Coaches or Traveline.

Mecca Bingo Taunton is open from 10am-10.30pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 10.45 am-10.30pm on Tuesday and Friday and on Sunday and Monday, the club opens later at 4.30pm and closes as usual at 10.30pm.
Morning bingo starts at 11 am when available. Afternoon games start at 12 pm Tuesday through Saturday. All of the evening sessions get underway at 6.20pm.
Prices
Most games at Mecca Taunton cost around £2-£15 to play. The only exception to this rule is for the Sunday 7 pm main event, which costs £20.
On the whole, the cost of bingo here is very reasonable and provides good value for money.
