Situated in the heart of the historic town of Shrewsbury in an old converted theatre, Gala Bingo Shrewsbury is a hit with the locals and tourists alike and is located at Castle Gates between two sides of the winding River Severn. With a whole host of bars, restaurants, independent boutique-style shops and of course the picturesque town itself – there is plenty to see and do in the area should you tire of the bingo or simply need a break.

Access couldn’t be easier with Shrewsbury Train Station a short walk away, a number of buses serving the area and also a small amount of on-site parking for those who are driving in which is quite impressive given the central location.

If arriving via bus then the railway station stop has almost all bus routes running to it with route numbers 2, 24, 25, 64, 501, 511, 519, 524, 576 and X5 all running to this stop.

Inside Gala Shrewsbury, you will see that the club has managed to retain some its former grandeur with high balconies and a very large open hall. The modernised club has all the usual trimmings of a Gala club and you will find the usual chairs and tables with electronic bingo points (if requested) along with a nice little gaming area full of the latest arcade games and slots.

Food and drink are on offer through the on-site bar and restaurant and the facilities are clean and tidy throughout. The club gets busy most days with weekends being the peak time.

Opening Times

Gala Shrewsbury has some quite erratic opening times so check out table below for the latest times. They are also subject to change so we recommend you check with the club using the contact details at the top of this page to check the times on the day you are planning to visit.

When open, the morning sessions start at 11.50am with the Party Xtra games, weekday afternoon sessions start at 12.25pm (weekend 12.45pm) and evening sessions start at 6.45pm.

Prices

The prices at Gala Shrewsbury are pretty standard across the board with most games costing £6 to play. The most expensive is the Sunday evening game at £16 with Friday evening costing £11.

You can also take advantage of offers on the electronic bingo and there are also some smaller games (not main event games) that start from just £2.
