About

Located on the northern edge of the town, Gala Barkingside is situated just off the High Street on Fairlop Road and takes residence in the former State Cinema what dates back to October 1938. Through the years it has had many owners but remained as a cinema until 1984.

Unfortunately, not much of the original Art Deco style remains since Gala took it over and the main bingo action takes place in the former stalls area of the cinema. An artificial ceiling hides many of the original features but does provide a nice modern feel to the club.

This club is open pretty late all week long and has a decent following with peak times getting quite busy. There is an arcade area if you fancy your chances on the slots and there are some big prizes available here too – up to £500!

There are full disabled facilities and access and if you are hungry you will find some very good food and drink on offer. With anything from a light bite to a full-blown meal and desserts, there is certainly no need to go hungry here.

Getting to Gala Barkingside is very easy thanks to its central location and you will find a pay and display car park on site. If you prefer to travel by public transport then you have the choice of tube or bus with the latter being closest with a stop at Fulwell Cross just a 2-minute walk from the club. Take bus routes 150, 167, 169, 247, 275, 462, 667, 677 or N8 here.

There are two Underground Stations to choose from with Fairlop and Barkingside being an 8 and 15 walk away respectively.

Opening Times

Gala Bingo Barkingside is a busy club and has opening hours to match. The club is open from 11am to 1am Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 1am Saturday and on Sunday it is open from 12pm to 1am.

There are daily morning games from 11.10am with Party Xtra and the main stage games start from 12pm.

Prices

The price of bingo at Gala Barkingside ranges from £2 per session to £6 per session Monday to Saturday with plenty of opportunities to play at the bargain price. Sunday evening costs £11 to play 11 pages of bingo but does include 6x£100 houses, 3x£500 house and 1x£1000 house as prizes.
