Mecca Bingo Sittingbourne is located right in the centre of this town in the Swale district of Kent. Like most of the bingo halls in Kent, Mecca Sittingbourne takes its home in an old cinema that originally opened its doors in January 1937 and now it houses the New Century Cinema with Mecca taking over part of the venue for bingo use.

At one time the venue was almost turned into a nightclub but thanks to the council refusing the change of use of premises it has retained all the old charm that it had back in the 1930s.

Situated on the High Street, you will find an array of local shops, restaurants, takeaways and the like within close proximity to the club and this busy little town makes good use of the cinema and bingo that is on offer.

The bingo hall can cater for up to 800 people, has a car park to the rear and is easy to find and get to whether driving or using public transport. Those taking the latter option have a plethora of local bus services to choose from as well as the train service that goes to Sittingbourne Train Station which is a short walk away. Those arriving by bus can stop right on the High Street or on Crown Quay Lane by taking bus numbers 8, 9, 324, 339, 344 and 345 for High Street and 9, 327, 341, 343, 352 or 751 for Crown Quay Lane.

Facilities

The facilities at Mecca Sittingbourne are excellent with all the usual trimmings provided by this national chain. You will find a pleasant bar and dining area where you can purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, good meals, snacks and desserts. There is a decent arcade and gaming zone for those who feel the need for something different and you will find plenty of bingo options including electronic bingo and the usual paper-based games.

There is disabled access, a hearing loop and a lovely atmosphere to make all visitors feel welcome.

Opening Times

Mecca Sittingbourne is open from 10.45 am and closes at 11 pm Monday to Saturday. On Sunday the club does not open until mid-afternoon at 4 pm and closes at 11 pm.

Morning bingo plays from 11 am Monday to Saturday. Afternoon games take place from 12 pm Monday-Saturday (5 pm on Sunday) and evening sessions run 7 nights a week from 6 pm.

Prices

The prices at Mecca Sittingbourne are very reasonable. Morning sessions are £5 each whilst afternoon games vary from £2.50 – £8. Most of the evening games cost £2 – £8 apart from the main events at 7 pm which cost £15 Monday to Thursday and £20 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
