About

Situated right outside The Mall Maidstone, Gala Bingo is found in the centre of this historic town, right next to where the River Len runs underneath the many shops and buildings of the town. You will find the many retail outlets synonymous with English high streets near the bingo hall, as well as some top-quality pubs, bars, and restaurants such as Vesuvius, Wingos, and Dusk 2 Dawn very close by.

Maidstone has a thriving social scene, and Gala Bingo plays its part in that and is open until midnight daily. Plenty of parking (space for up to 100 vehicles) is available, and should you struggle for a space, there is even more locally. There are excellent public transport options, with no less than three train stations serving the town and plenty of options to travel via bus.

Maidstone West is nearest to Gala, but you do have to cross the river. Maidstone East is a little further away but is easy to navigate. The former is probably the best option although both are a good 20-25 minute walk away. The bus is the best choice if it is possible for you, with the Lower Stone Street stop being serviced by over 15 buses including the 4, 5, 12, 13, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 59, 65 and 82 Park Wood Shuttle.

The facilities at Gala Maidstone are decent, and although the club could use a little TLC inside, it is still friendly, sociable, and a lot of fun. See the images at the bottom of this page to get a feel for the club venue.

The on-site cafe offers some good food options, including some old classics, for very reasonable prices. The bar is well stocked (most of the time) and serves until late, and special events, such as tribute nights, bring the crowds through the doors.

Opening Times

Gala Maidstone is open from 11am to 12am during the week, 10.30am-12am Saturday, and 12pm-12am Sunday, making it one of the longest-opening clubs in Kent.

Main-stage bingo games start at 11am each day, with Sunday just offering afternoon and evening sessions.

Prices

The price of bingo at Maidstone Gala starts from just £2 and never exceeds £6, making it one of the most affordable clubs in the country to play bingo at. Most midweek games are priced between £2 and £4 for evening and afternoon games.
