Located just over 2 miles from Edinburgh city centre is this Mecca Bingo hall which is situated on Manderson Street just a few minutes walk from the town centre of Leith and a stone’s throw from local competitor Gala Bingo at Meadowbank. The club, like many town centre bingo halls is set in an old cinema near to a range of car garages. The venue has some space for parking but this is quite limited so you might want to use one of the nearby car parks if space is at a premium. If travelling via bus then you can take one of the many bus routes that stop on Leith Walk and take a short 3-minute stroll to the front door of the Mecca club. Bus numbers 1, 7, 14, 16, 21, 22, 25, 32, 35, 36 and 49 all service the local area.

The club is well maintained and has a bright and airy feel considering the type of building and the facilities are top class too. The gaming zone allows for plenty of fun to be had on modern arcade games and fruit machines and you can stay refreshed with the fare on offer in the diner and quench your thirst from the extensive choice of drinks at the bar.

The opening hours might seem a little erratic but cater to the demand of the locals and you might even find the odd tourist in here too.

Mecca Bingo in Edinburgh is based in Leith and is open at differing times throughout the week. Monday and Tuesday 11.30am-10pm, Wednesday 11.30am-11pm, Thursday 10am-10.30pm, Friday to Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 12.30pm-10.30pm.

Prices

The prices at Mecca Edinburgh are fairly competitive and with some games offering big money prizes they represent excellent value. Individual games start at just 50p (Lucky Stars Jackpot Monday to Friday) and go up to £13 for the Sunday evening main session. Most games other than main session games are between £1 and £5.50 including at the weekend.
