Located on Temperance Street (just parallel to Union Street) is Gala Bingo in this wonderful seaside town of Torquay. This modern venue is situated in an older building and has all the glitz and glamour that you would expect to find in a national chain bingo club such as this.

The club is well blessed in terms of amenities and has a very good bar and restaurant serving all the food and drink you could wish for, a relatively large arcade area with all the latest slot machines, disabled access, hearing loop and you will even find an on-site cash machine.

The club does get busy and has a good (if somewhat boisterous) atmosphere and you will it popular with locals and tourists alike. Despite its central location in the town, there is still ample onsite parking (space for over 200 cars) which is a godsend considering the difficulty parking in the town at busy seasonal times.

The club also has an active social media presence and has its own Twitter account and Facebook page where you will be kept abreast of the latest news and special offers.

Getting to Gala Torquay by public transport is relatively easy and the best place to stop is on Union Street with bus routes 12, 22, 31, 32, 34, 64 and 110 serving the area.

If you get bored of the bingo action then you will find plenty to do locally with the beachfront being a 15-minute walk with attractions such as Dinosaur World and The English Riviera Wheel being in very close proximity to the club.

Opening Times

Gala Bingo Torquay is open from 10am to 11pm Monday to Thursday, 10am to 12am Friday to Saturday and 12pm to 12am Sunday.

Session times for the South West Coast club start from 11am daily (except Sundays) with afternoon sessions commencing at 12.25pm weekdays and 12.45pm at weekends. Evening session main events take place at 7.30pm 7 days a week with the early evening session starting at 6.45pm.

Prices

The prices at Gala Bingo Torquay are pretty reasonable given the location of the club with afternoon bingo sessions mainly being priced at £3 or £4. The Saturday afternoon session is the most expensive and costs £6. Evening session prices vary and with Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evening costing just £4 and all other evening games costing £11. The early evening sessions (6.45pm) are usually priced at £2.
