Opera Bingo Whitehaven is located on Tangier Street, practically opposite The Candlestick. If you’re coming by car, you’ll find three convenient pay-and-display car parks in the immediate vicinity, the closest of which is opposite and accessible via Williamson Lane. Bus users can take advantage of multiple routes that stop nearby, including the 29 and 30 on Tangier Street, or a wider selection of services stop a 5 minute walk away on Duke Street. Disabled access is available should you need it.
Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, the friendly atmosphere and the helpful staff at the club make it an enjoyable place to relax and have fun. Membership is free, and bingo is played twice a day on Thursdays and Saturdays, with evening sessions available every day of the week.
In-house prizes typically range from £80 to £200, and you can also play for a huge prize on the Jumpin Jackpot. This is a progressive jackpot that steadily climbs until it is won by calling on 50 numbers or fewer on the last page of your main session books. The club is generally open from 5.45 pm to 10 pm, with the exception of Thursdays and Saturdays when they open earlier at 12:45 pm to offer afternoon sessions.
On Thursday and Saturday, the main sessions kick off at 2:25 pm. Evening games start with the earlies at 6:40 pm, followed by the main sessions at 7:25 pm.
Prices
A price list isn’t currently available for this club, but you can expect to pay in the region of £5 – £15 for paper games and £15 – £35 for electronic packages.
Most sessions are ‘All In’ and will usually include your Early, Main, Sweet 16, Ring the Bell Flyer, National and Jackpot Stamp.
